Registration
and Basic Administration
Course Registration - Students can for register, as well as
add or drop, classes electronically. If a class is full or
unavailable, the student is notified by the automated system,
and another selection can be made at that time.
Grades
- Students can access grades quickly and easily by selecting
the term and year.
Academic
Transcripts - Students can view an unofficial version
of their transcripts and request an official copy to be mailed
to them.
Address
changes - Students can view their current address and
phone information and update such information throughout the
system.
Financial
Aid Information Account Balance/Payment History: Summarizes
the charges and payments of a student's account by term.
Award History - Provides students with access to all
of the financial aid that they have received throughout their
enrollment at an institution.
Financial
Aid Availability - Provides students with a table of all
financial aid that is available, including detailed information
about the availability of various programs, and the links
to the issuing site.
Review
Awards Package - Students can select a term and review
their entire award history including status, amount awarded,
pending credit, and paid-to-date amounts.
Online
Courseware
Student Online offers faculty a full array of course tools
to support traditional lecture and seminar classes.
Basic
Course Content - Project and portfolio web pages, course
pages for syllabi, calendars, announcements, and important
links.
Collaboration
Tools - Email function built into campus intranet that includes mailing
lists/list servers, announcement function for use by the instructor,
chat, whiteboards, file sharing, and group conferencing features.
Testing
- Quiz generator that can be used for self-assessment exercises,
timed and repeatable exercises, as well as timed and repeatable
quizzes.
Grading
- Student module lets students post their assignments for
instructor comments, access their grades, and compare their
grades to the class average. Instructor module includes attendance
and participation tracking, assessment tools, automatic calculation
of student grades and class average, as well as an online
grade-book.
